Welcome to my LiveJournal. I created this back in 2004 to post business updates. That branched out into adding things I enjoy, predominantly quotes. When I joined NaNoWriMo most the first time, I kept track of my word count here, and did the same with my hour count for NaNoEdMo. Lately, it seems to also be anything that catches my attention for even a brief moment.

I am a writer. I write fiction in my spare time, and I make my living as a technical writer. I'm a graduate of MacEwan's School of Communications with a degree in professional writing.
Yup, BD. Is that the name my parents gave me? Nope, just the name I prefer. What does it stand for? Sorry, I don't answer that anymore. It's not that I don't want to, or even that it's a big secret. I've just found that people are more inclined to call you the name you like if you don't bother to tell them the name on your birth certificate.
